Touhou fans doesn’t think so!

The result of five years of futanari doujins

One point that draw fans into Touhou, the many bishoujos and the resulting lesbian love polygons that would put Strawberry Panic or Marimite to shame.

The material being shoot-em-up, and ZUN having only drew outlines of the characters’ personalities or their relationships, fans have let their imagination run wild over the many possibilities. Reimu was paired up with Marisa, then Marisa was paired up later with Alice (this being one of the most popular), then Patchouli, Nitori or Flandre Scarlet (this one being more closer to friendship than yuri girl crush. But when it comes to Flan, you never know). Among the Scarlet Devil Mansion cast, one of the most popular pairings is Sakuya x Meiling.

It’s one of these relationships where one (Sakuya) often abuses the other (Meiling). And any reason is good for Sakuya to punish the doorguard. One of my personal theories is that this relationship originated from Remilia not returning the love and devotion of Sakuya because the vampire loli is so goddamn hard gay for Reimu. Sakuya, desperate from not getting the love she wanted, took her frustration on Meiling (it may be possible that Sakuya have lolicon tendencies, not unseen from Remilia’s power).

And this is where love bloom in the weirdest places and ways. Some may argue that it is a weird version of Stockholm Syndrome from Hong Meiling. There were stories of people taking a liking to the people they tortured. In the case of Sakuya x Meiling, this had given this kind of doujinshi.

What’s funnier? The kiss or gaijinized Remi and Patchy?

Yeah, I know, there are also futanari doujins, I have the Sakuya x Meiling doujins by Reverse Noise in my HD after all ;)
This pairing is my personal favorite (Reimu x Sanae, Aya x Momiji are struggling for the other places in my mind). So it was pretty much funny when Japan decided that this rather fiery pairing so full of stabs of love, be it knives from the maid, or a member that have suddenly grown during a doujin, should bear fruits.

Accurate genetic rules? No such a thing in Touhou.

So far, in danbooru, there were three of them. And they were loveable. I think and am willing to bet there are more in pixiv. Maybe this child of love will take her roots very well in the fan community. This is something to keep our eyes on. Not to say it gonna be like Churuya, Kyonko and Meimu, but one never knows.
