Well, you should not. Celts believed that on this night, and just for this night, the border between the living world and the other world becomes thinner, to the point that dead could walk by people’s side and share a bit of fun with us.

Amusingly, Celts have a more positive view on death. Not only, it is a brighter vision than in other religions, but it is also not at the expense of life (seriously, how many times you have heard in religious speeches, “life sucks”, “life is horrible”, “let’s prepare for the next and better life”?). The both sides were to be celebrated with the same joy and enthusiasm.

I think this is something interesting to think over. While you walk around dressed up as a tentacle monster or Pedobear to scare off lolitas.
