They are reairing the first season with the second season in the chronological order (as in the books’ timeline). Next new episode (Endless Eight) may not come until late June early July. Disappearance will not come until later in the summer, august being the earliest I can think of.
Call it marketing move or attempt to help the casuals to remember what Haruhi was about and what was truly told in the books.
