There was a Tsukihime Anime. I watched it back in the day, tried to like it because I thought it could not be that bad. Until I read the manga and played some of the game and got fucking angry.

There was a Tsukihime Anime. It exists, and it was made by JCStaff.

There was a Kanon anime in 2002. Toei made it. It blew hard and almost ruined Kanon for me until Kyoto Animation fixed it.

There was a Endless Eight anime arc. That was a okay short story in the light novel, two or three episodes would have been fine but Kyoto Animation found a way to blow it again.

There was a Hidan no Aria Anime. I have seen its potential in episode 4. I have read the light novels because I liked what I have seen. But then I remembered the Tsukihime Anime. Made by JCStaff. My hope for the Jeanne d’Arc vs Shirayuki was akin to a beaten wife hoping that her husband would not beat her tonight. But the husband beat her. Then I hoped that they saved the best for episodes 11 and 12. My hope was akin to a beaten wife hoping her husband would not accidentally kill her with his beatings. But episodes 11 and 12 came along. The wife was beaten, raped and killed. Not in that order.

I will recall it everytime an animated adaptation of a visual or light novel is announced to be made by JCStaff. So I can pity the poor fans.

KyoAni will have to make a lot of better adaptations after Endless Eight to earn my trust again. Also add, adapt the rest of FMP to this wish.

JCstaff and Studio Deen, I think people should stop to give them IPs to adapt. Because lately, the results are infuriating more than anything else. I should like them but then I get my hands on the original sources, I look again at the adaptations and rage.

There was a Tsukihime Anime and JCStaff blew it hard.

I will not stop to repeat to myself that there was a Tsukihime Anime By JCStaff. Because denying it is, in my mind, equivalent to turn a blind eye to JCStaff’s past record about adaptations. Are you guys really okay with them sucking out the drama, the development, the action and the world building in favor of highschool light romcom? I am not.
